Bespoke retail counter for commercial premises, Pelicano house in the north Laines in Brighton.

This counter/bar was handmade on the premises of Pelicano tea and coffee house. It was designed to fit all the required appliances as well as all their glasses and coffee cups. It had to be built strong enough to house their fantastic coffee machine weighing in at 250kg plus the water in the boiler, meaning it had to hold a great weight. The space behind the counter was designed in a T shape to give plenty of room for the baristas by the coffee machine. The till was sunk into the counter so as not to take away from the view of their counter display.

If you haven't already, I'd highly recommend stopping by for a coffee and a sandwich. It's one of the best coffee shops in Brighton.
